South Georgia & Antarctic Peninsula - Fly/Sail & Sail/Fly
Fly/Sail & Sail/Fly

Our inaugural – Fly/Sail or Sail/Fly concept voyages reduce our time at sea, yet still allow time for our normal itinerary for south Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula. On South Georgia, king, gentoo, macaroni and chinstrap penguins nest in their hundreds of thousands, wandering and light-mantled sooty albatross dance across the skies. Beaches are busy thoroughfares for fur and elephant seals. We share stories of whalers, sealers and explorers, and follow the dramatic adventures of sir Ernest Shackleton. we continue on to the south Orkneys, Elephant Island, South Shetlands and the Antarctic Peninsula to discover stories of our own.

“The growing anticipation of our expeditioners as we approach South Georgia is palpable. You will come away with an incredible diversity of experiences on this voyage and our expert team of lecturers will heighten your understanding of this unforgettable region.”
